Hunted to Haunted

for Windows users: I know the rules said not to put another link in the description to download, but I uploaded the wrong file (which I've now since removed from the page) which just would not run (I haven't updated the game at all; I just forgot to include another necessary file in the download). This is a game for the GMTK 2023 game jam.

The theme was "roles reversed", and we decided to take it literally. In the game, you start by hunting some ghosts, then you defeat a boss, then you start being hunted *by* the ghosts (that's the role reversal) and have to leave as fast as possible. it's a bit of a stretch of the theme but yeah that's our game

I was helped by Rayan, who made almost all of the art (there's still a little bit of programmer art left in there lol) and gave a lot of ideas.

this game is really rough around the edges, probably even more than my usual game jam project since this game jam was a bit unfortunately timed (I (and also Rayan) had to go out and do a lot of stuff during the game jam period). I hope it's still passable tho.
